Notes from Underground

Fyodor Dostoevsky 7/10

Notes from underground is my first forte into Dostoyevsky. He invents the archetypal unreliable narrator in the protagonists consistent ramblings. This book is short, and a good starting place to understand the foundation of Dostoevsky’s interpersonal examinations of philosophical values. I didn’t understand much of this book. However, I am excited to read it again in 5-10 years time when I come back to russian literature.
